Blue Comforter Queen

I need some ideas!?
Trying to redecorate my bedroom after 25 years. (I know, I know…) It is currently beige. Beige rugs and beige walls with a well loved Lands End reddish/maroon comforter that matches nothing. Perfect weight though. I think I’d like to paint it blue or a calm green. I am going nuts trying to find a comforter set or a duvet set. It would be nice to have new curtains too as they are beige, and I am so ready to do this. I will not put up wall paper as I have taken too much down and swore that there would be no more. Do you have any great ideas? I have looked at stores, sites, magazines and this just won’t come together for me. I need help. Thanks PS Consdiering the comforter at
