Best way to stop mold/mildew from coming back?
We built our house 3 years ago. 1st year we noticed the shower door leaked. So I got some calking, mold/mildrew resistant, and sealed it up. Months later I notice nasty black stuff on the calking. Tried to clean, but it was under that calking. So I removed all of the calking, washed with bleach and let it dry for a week. Re-calked. Months later the mold/mildew is back. GRRRR Removed calking, applied a product designed to remove mold/mildew. Re-calked. 3 months later. It’s back. 
Please help!
I can relate. I had a bathroom issue a few years ago too.
I never was able to make it completely stop. i wish I had some good advice for you. For me I just bleached the heck out of it on a regular basis and it minimized the discoloration. Instead of looking black I got it to look brownish and white…
