For how much should I sell my King Cornet 602?

It’s a model 602 King cornet made in 1985. Used by three students including myself, has a small ding in the bell and a barely noticeable one by the mouth tube, and has about 90% of the original lacquer still on it. It’s in good playing condition and has had a recent repair in valve 2. Tuning slides and valves work smoothly. It would include the mouthpiece and a good condition case. How much would it probably cost?

Hi Nbrugm . Sorry you have no answers to your question yet ( but I will try to help you. Your King Cornet model 602 is the basic student model instrument. A cornet in good ready-to-play condition including the case and mouthpiece would sell for $325.00… now it does have to look nice, because it is going to be the adult parents who are going to come by to look at it. Looks are not the most important factor about a good playing instrument to a real player… but looking good and being in good condition is important to the parents. I would advertise at the $325.00 price, if they offer you less, it is your decision whether or not to take it. Hope I was helpful.
