Edit : @ Boos , I wanted you to choose from this list only . It’s not that those guitarists are my top ten . NO , I have Hendrix , Page , Gallagher , Trower …etc. before them . It’s just that I don’t see so many people babble about those guitarists ..

1 Uli John Roth (The Scorpions, terribly influential on all Neo-Classical shredders)
2 Ted Nugent (Terrible Ted can play up a storm)
3 Brian May (What a unique tone)
4 Tony Bourge (Budgie, His Riffs were very influential to the development of Metal, and was a huge influence on Metallica)
5 Alex Lifeson (Rush, criminally underrated)
6 Gary Rossington (Skynyrd, the solo in Freebird, need I say more?)
7 Mick Box (Uriah Heep, fantastic riffs)
8 Scott Gorham (Thin Lizzy, as badly underrated as Lifeson)
9 Peter Frampton (Humble Pie, excellent Guitarist)
10 Marc Bolan (T Rex, totally unique style)
