my daughter won’t sleep since i got rid of her dummy. what can i do to comfort her?
I got rid of my twins dummies but beth hasn’t taken it very well. the first three nights she was in a strop but then settled.Now she just screams and screams till she falls asleep from exhaustion. I tried giving her a teddy but she just chucks it out of her bed. I feel awful but i don’t know what to do.
she’s 18mths btw
its tough, my 3 year old still sleeps with his and we daren’t take it away for fear of this exact thing! try to stand firm if you can, she will likely forget about it soon enough and can always turn to her thumb or fingers if she does need to suckle. try not to give in as hard as it is, you have already done the hardest part!
