How should I decorate my bedroom with this comforter as a focal point?

I’m moving into my first apartment and am excited to decorate! Problem is, I’m just not sure where to start. This is the comforter I’m currently using, and I’d like to jump off from there.
Anybody have recommendations or advice?
That is a very nice set and you can do alot with it. If you can paint I would match the taupe color in the ticking and buttons it would be serene and neutral if you choose different bedding in the future. Then I would add another semi bold color depending on the season. To do this get items such as a bed throw, accent rugs, vase and flowers, shelves, artwork.
Grab an old dining chair or vanity chair and recover the seat with a material you can use as drapes or a throw. Switch them up with the seasons or your whim. That print would go well in a nautical theme as well as a country french theme.
