Comforter Set King Black

I need help decorating my new home!?
I am usually really good at decorating BUT I am moving into my first house (super happy) but its really old style and im 19…. it has wood paneling and I have no idea what color sofa or bedroom set to get.
This is the living room!

My style is getting plain solid things like a black or white bedroom set and pump it up with bright accents or black and white things or get a white sofa with bright colorful throw pillows to go on it… but I don’t think it will look very good with this house lol… any ideas

Your photo link doesn’t work, but here are a few things to think about.
1) Lots of white/black with colorful accents can often cost more than painting the walls a soft color and getting a contrasting sofa or bedroom set. All those accents cost money.
2) Do A LOT of Internet research. Find out what is out there and save links to every item you like. Particularly concentrate on Ikea and Target if money is an issue. You want to have an idea of the big picture before you start buying stuff.
3) For bang for your buck it often makes sense to buy one big, semi expensive piece of art rather than several cheaper small ones.
