Everyone is all excited about the new neighbours who just moved in. There’s talk that they have travelled the world and been to exotic places. Apparently, she’s a marine biologist and he’s a naturalist, and they’ve spent their entire lives in the wild studying all kinds of animals and fish. The previous owner had been in a hurry to sell house quickly, so not much is known about them, but you’re excited to meet these curious new individuals, they seem so interesting and different from suburbia’s usual inhabitants.
So, being the good next door neighbour that you are, you make a casserole on the after they’ve settled in and walk over to their house, to welcome them with open arms into your neighbourhood, and while you’re at it, catch a glimpse of the famed treasures they’ve brought with them from their travels and work., and gossip a bit over why the previous owner was in such a hurry to sell house quickly. you are greeted by a tanned giant of a man, he’s the naturalist. And as he welcomes you inside, what you see ahead truly is a sight that catches you by surprise; the house looks like a mini jungle, there are plants of the strangest types all over, there are little animals scurrying about on the floor, and you spot what seems to be a very large snake. You are too shocked to say anything, and in your surprise you leave the casserole dish on a table, which to your disgust is crawling with insects, and hurriedly make your exit. These are your new neighbours.
You don’t think much of it in the beginning, but the sounds all those animals make, apparently there’s a family of chimps too, is just too much to bear all day. Plus one of the chimps loves to throw rubbish at passing cars. And the constant terror of living with ATLEAST one lethal snake and half a dozen scorpions is getting to you. One of your neighbours already decided to sell house quickly and escape from this mess. And if your fears cant get any worse, one fine morning, you step out to your front yard to find a very large snake, different from the one you saw at the neighbours’, lying in the grass just a few yards away from your feet. You let out a scream of fear, and Mr. Naturalist comes running, it was indeed one of theirs and he had been looking all over for it. Now you’ve had enough, you have a family to think off. There is only one thing left to do, these people are too obsessed with animals to let them go, so you have too sell house quickly and leave, foe your own protection.
