Is it possible to make a “Wireless” Internet Cable (from Router to PC)?
I know it sounds weird. I have a laptop with a dead wireless card (motherboard problem), so I can’t connect to the Internet wirelessly. However, I can connect to the Internet using an internet cable from my Wireless Linksys Router to my PC. Well, I was watching his video the other day, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogUf7syEG7U, and I thought ‘why not make a wireless internet cable?

Like in the video, I would cut two ends of the cable and take off the protective outer layer for the cable. Then I would get two cotton balls and put the stripped cable into the cotton balls. Lastly, I would wrap the cotton balls in aluminium foil. (please watch the video to understand better)…
Yeah, so I just want to know if this is possible. Will this decrease Internet speeds? How far can the range of my wireless go? My router is a ‘Linksys Wireless-G 2.4 GHz Broadband router’.

Dont think you can make your own wireless cable w/out some serious technology. couldnt find the video, but I was cracking up when I read your question. you can always just buy a usb wireless adapter
