Cotton shirts that are a bit too big. Don’t want to fully dry though How long should I dry for tiny shrinkage?
I bought some new cotton size large shirts. They are just slightly too big, but the medium size was too small. I don’t want to fully dry them in the dryer as I know they will shrink too much, but I do want them to shrink just a very tiny bit. Does anyone have any experience with what might be a good amount of time to dry them in the dryer to get just a little shrinkage, not too much?
Cotton shrinks.two times. The first two washings and drying. You need to buy the XL. Use cold water. Line dry if you can. Put in dryer to fluff. Or, dry on low heat for about 15 min. and then hang. A lot of heat will really shrink these.
