Question about TMobile Sidekick LX? Screen protector/cover?
So I just bought a Sidekick LX and I want to keep it safe. My last phone’s screen cracked, and I really don’t want that to happen to the LX, since I paid a mint for it.
Any good ideas for a screen protector or cover? I heard those Clarivue covers were good, but it seems like it only helps minimize scratches, can it protect the screen from cracking? Or should I just buy one of those snap on cases for the full phone?
You can find some screen protectors for sale at Wal-Mart they are not specifically design for Sidekicks but they are designed for all sorts of electronic devices including cell phones. The Product is “Fellowes WRITERIGHT They are UNIVERSAL SCREEN PROTECTORS. It’s a thin clear plastic sheet that you simply cut to fit the size of the screen in your case the sidekick screen once you cut the right size you peel the back part off and stick the clear plastic on the screen part only then a free credit card looking thing comes included and you simply slide it across the screen to make sure the plastic cover has no air pockets and is smooth.
I have used this product on my Nokia 5300 also a T-Mobile phone since I have bought the phone over 8 Months ago it works great. Be aware the screen will only look about 98% clear once the screen protector is on but it’s worth it. You don’t want scraches on the screen.
Note: No screen protector is going to prevent your screen from cracking if you drop the phone. It all depends on the surface and the height the phone is dropped.
