Crib Bedding Sports

Moms, do you think I’m too strict?
I have 5 children, if you didn’t already know that. Haha.
Anyways here are some of my rules. I’ve been talking to my friends who also have children, and they say I’m too strict.
1.) No pop
2.) They all go to bed before 8
3.) Bathe daily
4.) No friends over, only on the weekends
5.) Read an hour a day
6.) Homework RIGHT when they get home from school
7.) They can have a snack when they get home from school, but it has to be a fruit of vegetable
8.) They can only play one sport ( Too expensive)
9.) My oldest ones who arent in a crib anymore have to make their beds everyday
That’s most of them. There are a few more though.

How old are they?
1.) No pop
That’s fine. Soda is awful for you and it’s good to get into the habit of drinking water.
2.) They all go to bed before 8
Five kids of different ages shouldn’t have the same bed time. How old are they?
3.) Bathe daily
Fine, except in the winter when bathing daily can dry out the skin too much.
4.) No friends over, only on the weekends
Not a good idea. Set limitations on when they can come over, and for how long. Kids need to play in the afternoon.
5.) Read an hour a day
Good.
6.) Homework RIGHT when they get home from school
Not fair. You want to take a break after work, right? Do you want to immediately do more work? Let them have a half hour break for a snack or to rest and then get started.

Ok.

If that’s all you can afford, I guess that’s fine.

Yeah, that’s fine.
Don’t be too rigid. My mom and step mom are more mellow, but my dad is more rigid, and it’s just not needed. You need to be flexible. Not every i needs to be dotted and every t crossed.
