The historic canopy bed curtains
In medieval Europe the traditional canopy bed was considered a symbol of prosperity and has been widely used by nobles and other people of high society. At this time the lords and nobles decisions often slept in the same room as their servants and assistants in large mansions and imposing castles. This means heavy curtains should be hung from iron rods attached to a wooden frame fixed to the ceiling to provide privacy and warmth.
