Bedskirt that says dryclean only? And it got wet?
I just bought a brand new comforter set from JCPenny, and the bedskirt is 80% polyester, 20% cotton and it says Dry Clean only on the tag. The bad thing is, my dog (GRR!!!) peed all over the bedskirt because it’s designed to be longer and kind of lay on the floor, so I guess he thought it was a pee pad.
Anyway, since it has gotten peed on, it still looks wet. I tried cleaning it by hand while it was still on the bed but it still looks wet *even though it is definitely dry).
Would it be best to just go ahead and wash the entire bedskirt in the washing machine on a gentle cycle? Maybe if the entire thing looks wet it won’t be as bad. Bad idea?
Any suggestions?!
