Duvet Covers Twin

My Duvet slips in the duvet cover.?
I have a twin duvet and a twin duvet cover. When I put the duvet in the cover it slides down towards my feet. Every morning the duvet is crumpled at the far end of the duvet cover. Is there any way of holding the duvet to the cover. My duvet has no hoops and i cannot hang it in the buttons of the cover. Could anyone help me with the easiest way to solve this?
Two ways to fix this common problem.
1) turn the cover inside out. lay the comforter on top. use a safety pin at each corner to secure the comforter to the corner of the duvet. turn whole thing inside out again, so that comforter is inside duvet.
2) they make duvet clips for this very issue. They work the same as safety pins without punching holes in the down comforter.
