Feather Comforter Cover

My fiancee thinks he is allergic to the feathers in my down comforter…?
I love my comforter, but my fiancee thinks he is allergic. His allergies can be bad. He didn’t even notice until I took the duvet cover off to wash it and feathers were everywhere.
I don’t want him to have a reaction. Is there a similar comforter that I can buy that he may not be allergic to?

It’s probably a very cheap duvet. If it,was a good one there wouldn’t be “feathers everywhere”. This is caused by low thread count fabric.
If you have a good one, there is never a problem with allergies. The feathers are cleaned of all dirt, dander, etc before assembly.
If you want a new down one, try QVC’s Northern Nights. They are excellent.
If not, just get a “down alternative” duvet.
