I need advice on how to clean two queen size down comforters.?
I called a couple of dry cleaners and it will cost $30 minimum for each comforter. I am not sure that I want to put them in my washing machine or dryer because I am afraid that I will ruin them because of the feathers. Not to mention I don’t think that the one will fit in my washer. Any suggestions or advice on what you do, would be great.
Well, you could try the dry cleaning method in your dryer.
They sell it in your laundry section, and I believe it is a sheet that cleans delicate items. Follow directions!
I would also put in there a few tennis balls to fluff the feathers while it is in the dryer.
You best bet is to bring it to the cleaners, they are the ones that are the experts.
