Best way to clean your penis?
I’m 14 years old and im basically having some trouble keeping my penis clean. i noticed yesterday when i pulled my foreskin back that i had smegma (white stuff) on my penis. i can not yet pull my foreskin right the way back but i have heard that as you age it becomes easier or something. i wipe the smegma off with a damp flannel as i cant do it in the shower as it is to powerful, and the penis head is so sensitive so im wondering is it best to do this in a bath? and do you need to use soap? and what soap/shower gel is advisable
Also is smegma the reason for penis’ smelling and can it sometimes lead to an STD or any other complications if left there?
You don’t necessarily need to be using anything other than water and maybe some mild soap. But you need to continue working the foreskin all the wa y back to clean. It will not do it by itself.
All the smegma, including the smell, is forming because you are not cleaning properly.
It will not give you an STD but it won’t get any better unless you pay more attention to your hygiene.
