How do I add photos to a no sew fleece blanket?
My dad asked me to make him a no sew blanket for Christmas and some how put photos of all the grandkids on it! Pretty sure I can’t iron on to fleece, so I was thinking about printing photos on to iron on paper, put it on a cotton material and use stitch witch to attach ( I can’t sew).
You can iron on to fleece, but you lose the softness of the fleece and get a texture like that of a tee shirt. What I would suggest is getting different fabric and cutting them into squares, then applying the pictures to them. Then frame then with the fleece, leaving enough edge that you can cut the fleece into strips. Once you have all your fleece squares, tie them together to make a blanket. You could even tie on one large piece to the back of the blanket so that he has a soft blanket on one side and the pictures on the other.
