Living in West Hollywood throughout the state, the excitation and appearance you expect. But beyond the celebrity, there are many good restaurants, great parks and public spaces, and a diverse culture that continues to live in interesting cool. Admittedly, however, that life in a place with such history may make you curious. Here's a story about the journey of a woman in West Hollywood.

I booked a Saturday night stay to use the website of the hotel, which offers the best price – $ 265.50 for a king room with a discount AAA. The old bar and restaurant neighborhood that was black and red, has been replaced by a light bar overlooking the parade at Sunset. A wall of polished tiles, stainless steel behind the bar reflects light. The adjacent restaurant, human resources (as a revolt or mutiny Hyatt Hotel), is four spaces, in fact, everything flows together: the main hall, kitchen, a space with two large communal tables and marble – my favorite – the Wine Gallery, where an entire wall is a wine rack that can carry up to 400 bottles of wines from California. This place has three tables desirable, hidden behind a veil of gauze.

HR is good, not haute cuisine, and Saturday night was fully booked, the young and noisy. The emphasis is on locally produced organic food, and customers to customize their meal by choosing a list of Network Market ($ $ 18-23), Sides, condiments and sauces. It's like a dining car on the train, with small dots on the pencil in. I had a steak menu cooked medium with Chile and lemon chutney, spinach and some mashed potatoes sticky.

The Andaz, evening and King's Road, is before the House of Blues and next to The Comedy Store. It is an easy walk to shops and cafes on Sunset Plaza. Do not miss the site, which is run by a sculpture 11 feet high, entitled "Exit" by former Angeleno Jacob Hashimoto. It consists of 700 pieces hand painted hanging on steel cables.

The band is loud, but new windows are soundproof this hotel a good job as a heavy curtain that can be extracted by dividing the area the former balcony of the room.
