My B&G Macaw refuses to bathe, any advice?
My blue and gold macaw refuses to take a bath. I have attempted several different methods including using the shower with a perch, misting, and a stationary bowl. Misting upsets him, and he won’t get on the shower perch, and the bowls he’ll just tip over and spill the water in the floor. What are some suggestions to get my parrot to bathe, I’m worried he’ll have repercussions from refusing to bath.
Spray the misting to the side of him, not quite on him, untill he should go other to the spray (or probably not) but anyway do this and then slowly move it to him and just keep it a short mist, then gradually each day increase the length of the spray.
