What is the most comfortable air mattress?
I will be in temporary accommodations for 9 weeks. I really don’t want to invest in a trailor or renting furniture. I’ll have one chance to take as much stuff with me in an SUV as possible. Rather than hauling a couple twin mattresses (so my husband will have a place to sleep when he comes to visit), I’m considering a high quality airmattress.
I’ve been looking into different Intex and Aerobeds. How good of a quality are these products? Is it reasonable for the length of time I’ll be away (durability and comfortwise). How sturdy are they? Is it going to pop when my husband comes to visit? (ha, ha).
Do you have any other recommendations?
I have an Aerobed for my home office/guest room and it is comfortable. When I first got it, I tried sleeping on it for a few nights to make sure my guests would be comfortable. Adding a mattress pad before putting the bedding on it makes it feel like a real bed.
Your husband and you should be good to go on the aero, they are made to withstand fun and games. Mine is still a virgin so I can’t tell you how comfortable it is for that, but I and a few friends have slept well on the Aerobed.
My Aerobed is about 10 years old and gets used 3-5 times a year for a week or two. It still doesn’t leak. Make sure the floor you put it on is free of debris and splinters, follow the manufacturers directions and your aerobed will probably be good for years to come.
