Really want to redo my kiddish room!?

im 14 and i still have kids sports wallpaper on my walls, an obnoxious blue paint color, and a twin bed in my room…i really want to redo my room, but my parents think i don’t need one…im really tall, my feet hang of the end of my bed…

i was looking on IKEA.com for stuff, and i was thinking of painting my room, like a lighter green color, not neonish, but not dark, and paint one wall brown…i found a full size matress, and i want to know some cheaper places i can find things for my room.
like websites, furniture ideas, especially stuff green and brown, i dont have an extremely large room, i believe its around 10 x 13 ft…but thats just a guess

Check with the local hardware and see if they have any paint that was mixed the “wrong” color. You may find the exact color(s) you are looking for and it should be inexpensive.
Yes to check Goodwill, etc and Labor Day is coming up, check yard sale flyer’s you may find a bed frame the right size. If you are able to sell your existing bed that might help fund the purchases for your redo.
There may be some end of season sales over the holiday weekend as well. Make a list and plan to do some “heavy” shopping over the holiday weekend.
