I’m on a budget so..how will these throw pillows turn out if i use…?
1 or 2 cheap pillows to use for the stuffing.(walmart has them for like $2 each)
2-4 king size pillow cases in the color/fabric of my choice.($10)
I figure I can make 3 throw pillows, and maybe use some of the left over fabric from the pillow case to make tie backs for my curtains?
I’m not very creative, but how do you think this will turn out? Decorative throw pillows I am finding are between $15 and $20 each- too expensive!
My bedspread is black and white and I have black curtains. I would be using burgundy colored pillow cases for throw pillows and curtain tiebacks.
Any other suggestions? Thanks!
Sounds great!! Have used lots of different things myself to make accent pillows…second hand sweaters (xxlarge) can make a great pillow case (lots of texture and really cheap fabric–sew the edges before cutting or it will unravel).
