Why daybed bedding not provided? What is the difference in regular beds?

Received a day bed for a guest room, but all bedding couch seems so expensive? If it takes a double size regular mattresses, bedding, twin size why not Kmart or Walmart work? Why "daybed bedding" so expensive? I see more games $ 200 on eBay and other places. What is the difference in the comforter, and skirting for a couch? pillows are pillows, whatever, but is there a big difference for the skirt or snug at all?

You can use a twin sheet set that includes a cabinet mounted, flat, and pillow. The problem comes with the bed skirt and spread. If you are particular about how it fits, the bed skirt for a normal twin is much too short and the bedspread is a great way. Reason for high cost is low demand and low volume has no competition.
