Can I dry clean this comforter?
I have the comforter from the movie twilight…Bella’s comforter…it is called The Modern Home Flocked Leaf Comforter Set in Purple. A friend told me that she had it dry cleaned…and it got ruined…something about the glue that attaches the decals not being dry clean proof. Is this true? Does anyone have it and know this from experience? Do you have this comforter and have you dry cleaned it before?
If the comforter has anything glued on to it the dry cleaning solution can remove the glue and the decals will fall off, read the care Label, its probably machine washable most bedding is and it must have a care Label, google the company and see if they have care instructions posted if you have removed your care Label. A good dry cleaners would have followed the care Label however the manufacturer may have the wrong instructions on the item, if the care Label is followed and stuff falls off its the manufacturers fault not the cleaners.
