Taking short walks in Humboldt Redwoods State Park

Swimming, hiking, canoeing, camping and more

Drury-Chaney and paths – my favorite
If you have time for a track in a dry parks, walking the path of Drury-Chaney. One of the most beautiful trails in the park, and a short walk of about an hour on the surface of all year.
You can travel the path is straight or loop, and each path is clearly defined.
Do not be fooled by a sign near the parking area that is secondary forests. With large trees like these, not a forest that was once connected. Rather it is one of the most beautiful parts growth and majestic virgin Humboldt Redwoods State Park.
Unlike many dry forests, where trees block the light that promotes the rich ground cover, strong growth covers the ground of Drury, which makes the region particularly beautiful.

Founders Grove Loop Trail

Rockefeller Forest Loop Trail
