what else should i do to decorate my room?
okay…what else? the walls are yellow (and not too bright). my comforter is tye-dyed green with blues, reds, and browns in it. it may sound funky, but its cute. then my curtains are cream. i have pictures and magazine collages on my wall and bulletin board. i have this small table and it is like a sea/peacock blue color. i was thinking about sponge painting my closet doors a greenie color. i dont want to over do it though..but what can i add??
-hang objects like crystals/mirrors/shells/feathers/etc with fishing line at all different lengths from your curtain rod so they hang over the curtains and make an interesting pattern
-get a branch with lots of twigs coming from it (spray it with varnish or paint to seal it) and hang it from the ceiling then string fairylights over it 
-get thick ribbon that matches your colour scheme and tack it top and bottom across your closet doors, then you can use clips or pins to attach things like photos or art to it. or you could hang earrings through the ribbon going down it (i’ve seen this done and it looks nice!)
you could even try a simple weave or braid if you had several strands going at once-would be an interesting effect!
-put some simple shelves up like the ones from ikea and decorate with potted plants or photo frames/etc
-instead of painting your closet doors all over, why not try to recreate a tye die effect with paint? the sponge would be perfect for that!
