And I have brown furniture, so it matches with the bed.

Your idea will look very nice, and the light blue will also look nice for the walls. Then find some sheers to go with the colors. A light beige would look nice or even off white to add some delicate features to your room. Also, some nice wall hangings like shabby chic scroll candle holders would add to your room.
