Can black people use pillow curlers?
I have kinky, course, relaxed hair and I saw these pillow curlers in an avon book and I thought that would be a great less damaging way of curling my hair. I know you have to wet your hair and leave it on all night which is no problem for me, but my hair dries slow! I really want to try it but I dont want to go to school looking like a hot mess! So does anyone with kinky or relaxed hair have any experience with these pillow curlers?

I own a pack of those – bought ‘em at Walgreens. I haven’t used them since I went natural, though. They are very soft to sleep on and didn’t make my head hurt through the night. It also made my relaxed hair super curly – which was how I liked it.
Interesting – I always used them on dry hair and the curls came out fine – as long as my hair was moisturized at the time.
