help with painting a nursery for twins (boy and girl)?
ok .. im having boy.girl twins.. im thinking of painting the walls.. from just plain white..i thought about only painting the bottom half of the room.. like with the border or a rail moulding in the middle (white) and about 3 1/2 ft from the bottom.. and pale blue and pink stripes with white in between each.. on the top half and leave the bottom half as plain white. as their bedding is the same style but different and not coordinating in colors.. what is your advice.. green or yellow wont work .. im afraid.. i mean the furniture is all white so i dont want just white walls.. .. her’s is pink gingham and teddy bears which are
dressed like lil princesses and the same company designed the opposite fabric for boys which is blue gingham.. and the same style of bears just dressed as lil sports guys…
What if you painted the room white with navy/denim blue trim or the stripes you were thinking of…since navy/denim works with all of the kids’ colors so well and both boys and girls grow up wearing denim. That makes it not only gender neutral, but makes it fun to decorate both areas of the room and still have it all coordinate together.
