Help with Grooming Please?
Hi There:
I recently rescued a Chinese Crested. He is 2.5 yrs old and his grooming before he came to me was very poor. He has tonnes of blackheads and dry patches all over (mostly his back and knees). Basically wanting to know what the best shampoo and moisturizer is to use on him and how often I should bathe him. I took him to a couple groomers but they were not familiar with the breed. One suggested I use an anti-fungal shampoo and another one suggested I go to internet for answers Voila here I am. Help Please. I understand that they can have allergies to Lanolin so I’m very hesitant to just try a couple brands without some advice. Pet Store Groomer suggested an all natural shampoo called Tropiclean and Dr. Maggie Paw Protector. I bought it and have used it twice but still want advice from real crested owners.(P.S. I’m in Canada if that makes a difference for brands, etc..)
