Quilts from art auctions
I have traveled throughout California attending art auctions looking for unique quilts. I had great success. I found so many quilts that you could tell were filled with thousands of hours of careful planning and stitching.
I attend art auctions Orange and find a beautiful quilt. The quilt is a time of civil war and went into the design of the Blazing Star. There was a wonderful border red and green applique as Swag. The center of the quilt hand quilted heart has feathers.
The art auction that I went to San Bruno had a quilt that was fabulous in 1860. The quilt was hand applique with cheddar, red and green cotton solid fabrics. The background is white and the border has a meandering flowering vid. It was very special.
I found a great quilt that was made in 1894 when I was in a sale of art auctions in Rancho Cucamonga. The style of the quilt was really fun. Victoria was called Crazy Quilt. There was not much to develop hand embroidery and sewing all within blocks, was magnificent.
I was homes in Napa and attended an auction sale of art quilts that had several really nice. What he won was in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and was completed in 1870. I like the design called Ocean Waves. The chain had earth green and chocolate brown triangles that were enabled with a precision reconstituïts fine. The border and background color was warm, cadmium orange.
The quilt that I found on a sale of the art auction is in Paradise a premium 1840s, Quaker cotton quilt, which measures 108 "x 88" and 10 dots per inch. Quaker marriage was a cotton quilt. The upper edge, near the pillow, there was an original project and each side and bottom borders wide, with blocks of North Carolina quilts on every corner. There were two rows Lilies of North Carolina at the center, and a row of each side outwards.
The quilt made its way into the art auction because someone has decided to sell that part of the historical legacy has sent his family a lot to her. I was lucky to acquire this legacy that had passed through generations Quaker families. Now I have one of the great masterpieces of Pennsylvania Quakers.
The log cabin is always liked drawing. My grandmother made a quilt with this model for me when I was twelve. I found something in a way similar to an art sale in Los Gatos. The quilt was made in the decade 1870 and was made by Mennonites.
I was lucky to find Art Auctions on sale, it was difficult to find. The quilt is just fantastic. The light and dark design of this quilt has a red heart on one side with two green bars, two bars of cinnamon and two blue bars and two bars of color red across the red square in the center are two yellow, two black and white stripes, two blue bars beautiful Lancaster, and two strips of mint bars.
There was an auction of Huntington Beach Art announced bedspreads and was very happy with the pieces that he found there. The quilt that I bought was a pictorial motif, as an album quilt, with lots of interesting patterns. Each block is different and special.
