Dress help?
Truth be told I know very little about dresses, much less wedding dresses. When speaking to my designer she said with my budget we will be working with
silk duchess satin
Charmeuse
alençon lace
Depending on my dress style. Are these any good? Or should I feel I am being cheated a little? I would like top notch material so if these are no good what is?
Its not so much the going for top notch just for top notch.
But she is charging a good bit just for the fabric, and since I have little knowledge I want to make sure that I am not being swindled, you know? haha
My gown had silk duchess satin and lace – but I don’t know if it was alencon…
I looked up the definition of charmeuse, but it would depend upon what it would be used for.
The duchess satin draped – and the skirt and train flowed beautifully, so that’s a wonderful point in its favor.
