How do you know when you have passed bronze, silver and gold in ice skating?
In my lessons we are doing Bronze, silver and gold at the same time and we just keep repeating the we haven’t been told what happens when you pass or how you pass?
Please help
Is that SkateUk Star (also know as passport)?
If so you have to buy a “passport” they will sell it at your rink, its a pain because it about £17 but you have to get it. Then tell your coach you have this and when you complete each element he/she can sign it off, when you sign off all the elements for one level you’ve done it 
The levels are (if you dont know): (NB: these are the free levels, you can also do them in dance, synchro or speed skating and if you want can do all of them. Its most common to do dance and free)
Bronze:
3 Jump (waltz jump)
Bunny hop into drag
Two foot spin
Foreward Spiral (either leg)
Silver:
Single Salchow
Backwards spiral
1 foot spin
Teapot (forewards or backwards on either leg)
Gold:
Single Toe Loop (cherry flip)
1 foot spin with proper entry and exit
backspin (1-2 revs.)
Short routine with or w/o music (max 1:30)
After you pass those you go onto the NISA tests which are judged by an external examiner on a set day and you have to wear a dress etc for your test. These are levels 1-10, there are quite a lot of different sections to each level so ill post a link rather than write it out
