I DON’T KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN WITH DECORATING MY ROOM. I BOUGHT THIS COMFORTER SET, ITS MORE OF A MOCHA AND TAUPE COLOR I GUESS. I NEED IDEAS AS FAR AS WHAT COLOR FURNITURE. I KNOW I WOULD LIKE TO PAINT AN ACCENT WALL OR TWO..WHAT TYPE OF CURTAINS,LAMPS I MEAN EVERYTHING.

meantime, plan on three colors. The dominant, compliment and accent. they should fill 60, 30 and 10% respectively… so you need to decide how much more of the room will closely match the bedspread… That will tell you whether it’s your dominant or complimentary color…
the 3 walls, one color and the 4th another, helps you get the overall balance right. probably the 4th wall will match your compliment. Then lampshades or decorative pillows in an accent color will finish things off with a strong contrast…get us a link to that picture at overstock…
