I’m going to the Bahamas and i need to know where to stay?
I am going to the Bahamas in June and im trying to find a resort to stay at. i have looked at sandals but i have not heard a lot of good things about it. i have also been to atlantis but now a days it is way to expensive. so i would like to know if anyone has any suggestions on resorts. i would like a teen friendly resort … not anything too “coupley” like honeymoon. also if there is another tropical kind of location that you enjoyed for vacation let me know i am open to all ideas!
I’d recommend the Sheraton in Cable Beach. It’s new, really nice, and not overly touristy and expensive like Atlantis. However, since you’re open to other destinations, the out islands of the Bahamas are by far the best places to go.
Eleuthera or Abaco will be your best bet if you like having a really great time in a beautiful place with a little bit of familiarity. However, if you’re really up for some adventure, you should go to Long Island or Mayaguana. They’re the most beautiful Islands in the Bahamas because they’re so remote and untouched, but you’ll have to be open to traveling down the beaten path. Your hotel options won’t be as plentiful as they are in Nassau or Paradise Island, but there are some really exclusive and accommodating ones.
