is this bike seat waterproof?

and do you think the fabric on the bike seat would rip very easily and will have lint balls if sat on often
It is probably as “waterproof” as bike seats go, but you are making a BIG mistake with that saddle.
Go to your local bike shop and discuss different options. Even if you choose not to buy from them it would be good to better understand that bike saddles are not just for sitting, and “pillow” models are usually LESS comfortable than a firmer model.
