White Comforter Queen Set

suggestions for new comforter set colors for my guest broom.?
I have a pretty big guest bedroom with a queen bed and a twin bed with 2 black side tables. also, the lamp shades are red and the bases are black. what color comforter set would you suggest? room is white. i don’t want to throw out the lamps b/c it is a bit expensive. this room also contains a pc, a writing desk, a small shelf…..they are all oak. i know it does not match with my side tables. but i don’t want to throw them out. often, my younger sisters visit me during weekends and they use this bedroom. they are 22 and 18.
Well, since it’s mainly a room for your younger sisters, I’d go with this:
Keep the black furniture. If your beds don’t match the side tables, you can always paint the beds to match the tables.
Add the following colors to keep it fresh, since red and black are very vibrant and yet stark colors. Red is also a color that stimulates the human mind and body, making it harder to get to sleep. So… add some light, soft pink, keep your walls white. Paint the lamp bases silver (you can either go chrome or brushed stainless). Add some pink, black, white cushions on the bed and a pink and red throwrug. Throw a red cushion on the bed too. Opt for something shimmery at the windows to let in some light and reflect it even more: gauzy silvery sheer curtains or silver metallic blinds. Don’t worry about the oak. You can fit that in as it’s a neutral color. Consider painting the small shelf silver too.
