3) A tiny light bulb is on the floor 2 m from a wall in an almost dark room. A 10 cm statue is on the floor, halfway between the light and the wall. How tall will the shadow of the statue be on the wall?
Using congruent triangles gives the shadow as 20cm

4) In the previous problem, how will the area of the shadow on the wall compare with the cross-sectional area of the statue?
twice the height and twice the width gives 4 times the area

5) About 92% of light passes through an average windowpane. The 8% loss is not noticed through a single sheet, but through several panes it is apparent. How much light (what percentage of light) is transmitted by two panes?
